National Zakat Foundation (NZF) is proud to work with a range of great organisations, Masjids and charities that work with Muslims who are eligible for support, as well as delivery partners who help us meet some specific needs of the Muslims we support. Without them it would be much more difficult to reach Muslims who should be getting Zakat here in the UK.
Our delivery partners help us provide specific types of support when cash grants are not suitable, from furniture to food vouchers.
Some of our applicants do not have bank accounts, making it hard for them to access Zakat in good time. Working with Tesco, NZF can get electronic vouchers to Zakat recipients in a matter of hours. E-Vouchers can be used to purchase basic essentials such as food and clothing from over 600 stores nationwide. Furthermore, any unused Zakat after one year, is credited back to NZF to be re-distributed, ensuring your Zakat is always delivered.
NZF works with CSupplies to distribute basic furniture and white goods to Zakat recipients through its Housing Fund. Working with CSupplies, NZF ensures an end-to-end Zakat delivery while making the moving-in and settling down process as smooth and burden-free for Zakat recipients.
NZF is working with Common Purpose to give a bursary to emerging Muslim religious leaders and other community champions to take part in the streetwise mba, a hands-on leadership programme aimed at helping leaders become more inclusive. The programme uses the city as the classroom, taking participants to places they wouldn’t usually go to meet with a variety of other leaders. The purpose of the programme is to develop the participants’ cultural intelligence to lead strong, resilient teams and make better decisions.
